SMSyou is a comprehensive multi-tenant SMS delivery platform tailored for businesses needing reliable, cross-border communication solutions. As the sole developer on this freelance contract, I architected and built the entire system from the ground up, including the marketing site, client storefront, and administration panel.
The platform integrates deeply with Flutterwave to process payments across 4 different currencies (ZMW, USD, EUR, GBP), handling complex conversion and billing logic. The backend relies on PostgreSQL with Redis for rate-limiting and session management.
Through careful database schema optimization, I achieved a 40% reduction in query latency, ensuring the platform remains highly responsive even during bulk SMS campaigns. The entire architecture was designed with strict adherence to GDPR guidelines, implementing automated data lifecycle policies and secure data pipelines.
